Equilibrium, a short experimental film made with artist Simon Withers, screened at Glastonbury this year on the BBC Big Screen.

The film was commissioned by Threshold Studios and funded by the Arts Council. Equilibrium is available on Threshold Studios Critical Mass DVD.

Equilibrium was filmed over a couple of freezing nights at Simon's studio. We know how we were going to make the film, though as we took a genuinely experimental approach, we were never certain what we would end up with. Simon and Steve composed the soundtrack, using drum cymbals bowed along the edge in order to make them resonate.

Simon, and his wife Jo, were recently seen as part of the Anthony Gormley piece One And Other one the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square.
