The Imposter - 3 Sentence Review
Wed, Sep 12, 2012

This film really gets to grips with the psychological complexity, priming, denial, luck and opportunism, as Frederic Bourdin, a man of Algerian descent, convinces an American family that he is their missing blue eyed boy.  He keeps his cover for 5 months, but slowly the co-dependency unravels. Though engaging, cinematic, with an interesting use of sound, it didn’t quite work on the big screen, but well worth a viewing.

Large Scale Rating 6/10
